Top 12 signs that the Yankees are in trouble

We're just one game away from the second-best baseball holiday of the year, folks -- Yankee Elimination Day. (The best? Red Sox Elimination Day.) While it's never wise to count the pinstripes out, there are signs -- many, really -- that this just isn't their year...

12) Yankee Fan, as you can see from this photo, doesn't seem to be staying for all nine innings, or terribly interested in seeing the game from close up

11) They actually started A.J. Burnett tonight, because they really didn't have any better option

10) They have multiple relievers with double digit ERAs

9) Mark Teixeira has as many hits in the series as you and me, and considering that he limped out of tonight's game, that might stay that way

8) Yankee Fan is just about ready to forget that he ever liked Nick Swisher

7) The Rangers are one inning away from having already swept the series

6) Tonight, they got absolutely rolled by a Molina

5) Their only hope to stop Josh Hamilton seems to be blow darts tipped with cocaine or booze

4) Mariano Rivera hasn't been seen in the better part of a week

3) Outside of Robinson Cano, none of their hitters seems to be any threat to do consistent damage

2) Joe Girardi seems sad that the Cubs' job has already been filled

1) There's no way they can advance now without beating Cliff Lee

Oh, and by the way... if the World Series is Giants-Rangers, Cablevision can more or less tell Fox to go pound sand.
