Top 10 takeaways from Roy Halladay's No Hitter

10) It's sad to see him over-compensate for Cliff Lee's win earlier in the day

9) Luckily, Halladay kept his pitch count down, on the off chance that he has to do this again sometime soon

8) Roy Oswalt and Cole Hamels clearly need to do the same, plus hit home runs

7) On the plus side for the Reds, the no-hitter gives Dusty Baker fine cover for not starting Travis Wood

6) The visual payoff from 120 years of mostly terrible baseball is very potent indeed

5) There's still room for improvement, seeing how Doc did walk a guy, was only 1 for 3 with a single, RBI and run scored, and only saw five pitches

4) Jay Bruce, the only Red to reach base, is clearly a marked man

3) One really does have to wonder if Halladay ever gets bored

2) If the difference in Halladay from the AL to the NL is really this great, perhaps the two leagues shouldn't play each other in the World Series

1) On some level, Philly Fan is convinced that this is all just one massive set-up
