Top 10 takeaways from the L'il Brett Favre Scandal

For those of you who don't get around to the more well-trafficked areas of Blogfrica, Deadspin has the goods on what appears to be a rather ham-handed (ooh, I made a funny) attempt by (at the time) Jets QB Brett Favre making a play for eye candy Jenn Sterger. A rather, well, adolescent play. An ill-advised, adolescent play. A not safe for work or straight men play. If you catch my meaning.

Anyway, we know what you want. The ability to un-see that. And the rest of the story.

10) That "gunslinger" nickname just got a whole lot more fun

9) If this is true and Favre's been unfaithful to his wife, we can safely infer that he's actually in favor of breast cancer

8) Somewhere in Wisconsin, Mark Chmura is making a very unfortunate comparison argument

7) The Packers' decision to go with Aaron Roders is just looking better and better

6) If ESPN actually addresses this during the MNF telecast, we can safely infer that Old Media has lost all control

5) If cell phone pictures of your block and tackle doesn't work when you are rich and famous, it's pretty safe to say that it never works

4) Favre's inability to stay retired is starting to make a little more sense

3) It's amazing the lengths that some guys will go to just to avoid paying for it

2) Old Racist Favre Fan is really hoping to change the subject to something about dogs by now

1) As shocking as this scandal may seem, it's probably nothing that Peter King, John Madden, or any number of other media mouth jobbers haven't already seen
