Anybody who can count to 20 with his shoes on knows publicly-financed stadiums are a sucker bet. The only people who'll argue for that seriously are craven politicians, the greedy plutocrats who own teams and stupid people.
I've been in Pac Bell or whatever the Giants are calling their yard these days, which was privately funded on dot-com dollars and the Bonds Experience. No difference.
