What's a blogger to do?

You've heard the cliche of shooting fish in a barrel? Well, Isiah Thomas will put that barrel on his head, then smack the barrel with a club, and then step on a rake, Sideshow Bob-style, all while denying that anything unusual is going on.

From today's NY Post, h/t to Deadspin...

Isiah Thomas said in mid-December that he would give himself two weeks to evaluate the job he was doing as head coach and decide whether anything should be done about it. Well, those two weeks are up today and the Knicks are 1-4 since Thomas' Dec. 18 statement. So naturally, it should come as no surprise that he isn't going anywhere. "We'll keep moving in this direction," Thomas said. When asked what direction that would be, he responded, "Me as coach."
Where do you go from here, Mr. Snarky Sports Blogger Man? Isiah has anticipated all of your moves. He's one step ahead of the game. And in last place of the conference, with the biggest payroll in the league, in his fourth year on the job. On some level, you really must applaud the accomplishment.

And that's what Knick Fan is doing, by the way, as it seems that they've given up on Fire Isiah chants. May we suggest some alternatives?
