Top 12 reasons why the Eagles should start Kevin Kolb

Hey, fair's fair -- I wrote the other side of this a day ago.

12) Eagles coach Andy Reid promised Kolb would still have the job, and as his promises that Donovan McNabb would be his starter in 2010 show, his word is bond

11) Reid still has Chunky Soup nightmares over the other time that the Eagles started a black QB in Jacksonville

10) Going to the much less mobile Kolb means that the line will have to start trying to block again

9) By going with Kolb, the team avoids the class action lawsuit from the fantasy football owners of America that overpaid for Kolb

8) Really don't want to put up with Kolb's hangdog expression when he sees his jersey in the clearance rack

7) By starting Kolb, the team gives itself the best chance of having Vick healthy in the theoretical playoff run

6) If Andy Reid were to start taking new conditions into account when he makes decisions, Eagle Fan would have no way to know how to react

5) Starting Kolb means that Vick can go back to those magical Wildcat-only plays that made last year so special

4) After drafting Kolb with a high pick and running off Donovan McNabb to a division rival to give him the starting job, the fat man clearly has too much invested

3) If Vick keeps the job, Brent Celek will turn into LJ Smith, and no one wants to see that

2) As much fun as Vick is to watch, he'll never really resemble Brett Favre, aka the guy that Reid's been trying to recreate all this time

1) It's the only way to ensure that the team follows the plan of this being a rebuilding year
