Because I Gamble On (Nearly) Everything I Watch...

Obama 356, McCain 182 in the Electoral College.

Obama 51, McCain 46 in the popular vote.

Democrats take 59 Senate seats.

Election is called for Obama before 10pm EST.

Three of my relatives threaten to move to Heaven, thanks to that Rapture thing from the Antichrist being elected. (Oddly, they haven't donated to the McCain campaign or volunteered to work for him. Guess they just aren't that invested in the planet.)

Make your own predictions in the comments. I'll keep track, and the closest will get a Mysterious Prize Of Dubious Value.

Obama 353, McCain 185 in the EC.

Obama 52, McCain 46 in the popular vote,

Dems take 59 Senate seats, with Liddy Dole sent packing, and Coleman-Franken being too close to call, delayed for re-counts for several days before Coleman is declared the winner by less than 500 votes, and Keith Olberman calling for the resignation of everyone on the state board of elections in Minnesota.

General election is called for Obama after 10pm, but before 10:30pm

Sarah Palin continues being ridiculous.

Does it really matter? Either a Socialist wins, or a National Socialist wins. Either way, we all lose. I'm sitting this one out, Instead of voting, I'll be burying whatever money I can get, legally or illegally in a hole in my back yard.

Left unsaid by the Dad -- this also describes his usual Tuesday afternoon. He's special.

Cubs Fan goes for McCain. I don't even have a joke here, folks.

If the current numbers hold up -- and I expect that they will, since there won't be anyone that cares enough to litigate over it -- it'll be Obama 364, McCain 174.

In the popular, it's looking like 52-47.

I had 356 and 52-47, giving me the edge over the Ninja, who had 353 and 52-46. (Seriously, Ninja, 52-46? What a bonehead pick.)

Senate-wise, we're probably not going to know a final number for a month, given how close Oregon and Minnesota are, and how tight Georgia is to a runoff. There's also the Alaska situation, which is hard to fathom.

So, after careful consideration with the judges (i.e., myself), I'm awarding the Prize of Dubious Value to me.

I'd like to thank me for all that I've done, and announce that, in the spirit of bipartisanship and overall Swell Guyness, that the prize will be handed out to the Ninja anyway.

But, for the record, I *own* you, Ninja. 52-46. Really.
