A Short And Obvious Point About Tying Suspension Lengths To Injuries

This just in... Dodger coach Don Mattingly thinks that San Diego Padres OF Carlos Quentin should be suspended for as long as Dodgers SP Zach Greinke is hurt.

It's very stupid, if only for the fact that you could easily game it by having some AAA scrub throw at the guy you went out, then turtle up and claim you suffered an injury.

That's why it's never worked that way before, and never will work that way again.

Plus, um, Greinke's a punk who could have easily turned tail and run.
