Top 10 reasons why Rex Ryan is staying with Geno Smith

What A Franchise
10) After the Mark Sanchez Era, four turnovers from your QB is fairly easy to take

9) He's tied for the league lead in turnovers with Eli Manning, and Manning's won two Super Bowls, so he must be good

8) It's not as if anyone else on the roster can play quarterback worth a damn, either

7) The other alternatives (Matt Simms or Brady Quinn) are going to be out of the NFL in two years, while Smith will be out in five

6) Since Smith only had six picks in his whole final year at college, he's all INT'd out

5) Really wants to see if Smith can come up with any more innovative ways to fumble

4) With 8 picks in 136 attempts, he's on pace to break Vinny Testaverde's modern all-time single-season record of 35, and the Jets really want to get more QB records

3) It's all part of the plan to set up Mark Sanchez's triumphant return

2) Rookie QBs always struggle with turnovers, Smith is a high pick, and it's silly to throw a guy over for one game

1) After drafting him too high, rigging the preseason competition, and getting Sanchez injured in the fourth quarter of the preseason Snoopy Bowl, it's going to take a lot more than a metric ton of turnovers to get him to blow this job

Have you ever seen anything like that behind the back fumble in the NFL? I have no clue what he was trying to do there.
