Top 12 Game One Heat Celtics Takeaways

12) When Thunder Fan dresses in matching blue shirts, it's cute, but when Heat Fan does it, it's lame

11) For fairly obvious reasons, Heat Fan really enjoys watching Delonte West and Jermaine O'Neal fail

10) Shaquille O'Neal has played 5 more minutes in the last 2.5 months than you or me, but since he doesn't guard Dwyane Wade or James Jones, it's hard to see how that mattered in this game

9) Rajon Rondo got his first assist of this game in the 27th minute; in a related story, the Celtics fell into a big first half hole and never caught up

8) If the Celtics lose this series, no matter what happens,. Jeff Green is taking the fall, despite playing better in his Game One than Kendrick Perkins

7) Between the Jermaine O'Neal flagrant and the Paul Pierce ejection, Celtic Fan has all of the Tim Donaghy-esque fuel that he needs

6) Really. LeBron James just works better as an energy player / second banana, rather than having the ball in his hands

5) There is no truth to the rumor that the Heat's fans chant "M-V-P" instead of "Let's Go Heat"

4) Paul Pierce got ejected for something that he goes 60 to 100 times a game

3) Dwyane Wade dived into the fans for a loose ball while up 10 with 2 minutes left, because with all of those white shirts on, they just looked like a big mess of pillows

2) Boston looked very rusty with the lay off, which is to be expected, given that many of their players are old enough to be almost entirely made out of rust

1) Once again with feeling... independent of all of the referee-based weirdness, if the Heat are going to hit their three pointers, they aren't going to lose

I know James Jones’ absurd number of open looks contributed to the Heat win, but is there any doubt about who is Miami’s most important player? When Wade plays well and is the focal point of the offense, the Heat are probably unbeatable.
